I’m Joseph, founder of Become. Thank you for taking a bit of your time to read this.
Over the last 20 years I have worked in a range of roles globally supporting people make confident and positive changes in their lives. I’m passionate about people finding their purpose – that feeling of being content, your values aligned with what you do and how you act!
Throughout my career, similar to a lot of my 1 to 1 clients, I have experienced what it means to step outside of my comfort zone and feel that nervousness and trepidation as I advanced in a number of increasingly senior roles.
I’ve learnt from it and now my expertise lies in supporting and challenging people to notice what might be getting in their way. Within this safe space my clients work towards a heightened understanding of who they are, their values and what they want to invest energy in within their life.
As an accredited PCC Coach I am experienced using a wide range of different frameworks and I believe flexibility is key to coaching. A ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach can be limiting in coaching relationships and can end up devaluing the individual for the sake of following a model.
Furthermore, as a coaching psychologist what is fundamental to my practice is a core, humanistic belief in people and I’m a firm believer of strengths-based approaches. Apart from these I also utilise acceptance-commitment and cognitive behavioural frameworks to enable long term change in individuals.
